PLEASE READ FIRST! Ok a little history about this pic. This is Lollie and her sister Baby Ruth playing with Little Orphan Annie. We found Annie in the road late one night laying over the dead body of her sister with no mother in sight. She was very young, in fact she was still in her nursing stage. We couldn't leave her there to die a long slow death, so we brought her home, cleaned her up and spent the next 8 months raising her and getting her ready to live her life as it should be - as a wild animal. Annie disappeared for almost two years and then last summer we were overjoyed to see her sneaking kitty food at the barn. It was a reward experience but please note that Raccoons are forever wild animals, and can carry dangerous diseases we were lucky and very careful before introducing ANYONE animal or human to Annie to give plenty of time for the wormers to work on the nasty worms they can carry and to be sure she wasn't infected with rabies.

Annie loved to play with the girls, never hurt them and would play chase running from the girls, then after them, and then they would have a fun wrestling match. So... what in the world were Lollie and Baby Ruth thinking?
