Yeah, in a healthy person, losing that much blood and getting a big hematoma post-op are not normal and scary and perhaps the dose of Lovenox was excessive or a pharmacy mistake in labeling the dosage strength they packaged for you or something. I'm so glad the hematoma resorbed and you are fine now. I'd steer clear of that surgeon/pharmacy in the future where open cutting procedures are involved, just to be safe, maybe. But mistakes happen with the very best providers as we all know - still, when it's me and my providers, I tend to move on.
