When I rescued Gizmo from an unethical byb who was starving him, to try to make him small, he was only 1lb 4ozs, but you could see every bone in his body. By six months, after he was nice and healthy, he was 5 lbs, and now at 8 months I think he's probably still just over 5 lbs. so he has totally leveled out on growth, but I'm so happy he survived and is within standard. I would like him to get a bit bigger, and hopefully he does. He is very short and stocky like a little body builder :-) around where I live here in so cal, near a very wealthy area, I have seen far too many tiny yorkies less than 2 lbs at our park here at the beach, and I have to hurry and go the opposite direction, because I just get sick seeing those poor pups, knowing that is what Gizmo was meant to be. I would love him no matter what xoxo
