Ask your dr about the superglue if they have to do a mastectomy- I was able to have my drains out in a matter of days versus weeks, because of the glue they used to "stitch" me up
Wow, thank you for all of this information. Ugh - was hoping I could just get it the procedure, wait 2 hours and come home. Superglue! Have heard of it for op wound closure but not in mastectomy cases so will ask - hate stitches and staples. My hip surgeon used dissolving stitches after hip surgery and those were so nice but the glue sounds even better. Glad to hear Sammons is a good place. Everyone I know in Dallas goes there for oncology. Thanks for all your help, Michele. You've given me so much help here.
