I know it's crazy, sounds almost made up. I was gone 6 days, I weighed my self the morning I left which was on a Wednesday, then the following Tuesday I was 7 lbs give or take some oz. heavier. But when I was with my family we ate like we were in a food contest, sick I know but it happened, I ate a lot of carbs like breads, pizza, snacks and sweets, plus I drank a lot of wine. The initial weight, like three pounds came off in one day so that might have been water. As of today I believe it's 8 or 9 days that I have been back. I have stuck to a strict diet once again with increased exercise, but now the scale is not budging, so my pattern seems to be I loose weight quickly then it slows way down. When I go on vacation with my husband during a week or so he will loose several pounds and I almost always gain about 5lbs, I seem to put on weight very quickly, LOL of course it could have something to do with the fact that when gone from home I go "you know what" very few times. So maybe when I get home and the explosion happens is why the quick weight loss occurs
