I just went through a similar round with Milo. Several trips to vet lots of antibiotics prednisone and changing the food. Finally went to dermatologist, he told me to keep him on special diet for now but changed the antibiotic, we are off the prednisone and he put him on a topic a. Here w are a month later and I am seeing amazing results, we went back for a follow up and I can reduce his atopica to every other day and when I am done with the special diet I can introduce regular food. He wants to keep Milo on the atopica every other day till spring and then try to reduce. I also sprinkle flax seed meal on his food he loves it.
