I would give Vetericyn a try, this stuff is amazing. They also have a human version called puricyn and microcyn. I learned about the human version first myself for certain treatments of issues I used it for on myself. I actually used the animal version because its the same product from the same company, but much cheaper in the animal version.
My next door neighbor has a German Shepard that had allergies and hot spots so badly she was bald and an angry red color covered all her skin. I gave him a bottle of Vetericyn to try, and within a week her skin was back to a nice healthy tan color and her whole body was re growing the hair. It's a totally non toxic formula so it will not harm your pet if it is licked either. This stuff is amazing, even Ceasar Millan talks very in depth about the product on his website, as he states he always keeps it with him for dogs, because it has so many uses and it is part of his go to product in first aid. I even had my husband spray it in his eye before I used it, plus e had a stye lol, so I figured my husband was the perfect test subject. He did not feel anything when sprayed in the eye, and his stye was gone within 2 days of him using it.
It is a great treatment for allergies for dogs because it is so safe, and works amazing. This might be TMI, but the reason I was interested in it was because about 4 years ago, I had to have a tube surgically put through my abdomen into my bladder to empty it, because my bladder is paralyzed. I was getting constant infections before and after the tube was put in, and had so many blown out veins from IV treatments, as I am completely resistant to any pill form antibiotics at this time. So I was researching on a forum fr paralyzed people and found that other paralyzed people were using the Vetericyn to flush their bladders and it was keeping the infections away. I finally hit my breaking point when I ended up having a staph infection for over a year and a half that nothing was killing it. I ended up with surgery and had the tube removed, at the same time they had to remove a portion of my abdomen as well as part of my bladder because the staph had killed off the tissue. After surgery last April, I started flushing my bladder with Vetericyn, and I have not had one infection since. It is the longest I have ever gone without infection in over five years, but I am totally using it off label lol. It is made for animals for wound healing and treating skin conditions. I've told my drs what I am using it for on myself, and they are actually recommending it to their other patients as well. Just read the reviews anywhere, and you will see its a very highly effective product.
What the product consists of mainly is super oxygenated water that helps heal by promoting healthy cellular growth, and also soothes the skin at the same time. Myself and friends have used it on ourselves and pets for so many things, it's really amazing. All you need to do is google Vetericyn reviews to see how many people it has helped their pets and is so safe.
