It seems that Simon doesnt want you to leave alone.
Maybe he was trying to take out some clothings so that he can slip in & go with you instead!
Poor dear..he is sure going to miss you alot.
When I am go away for short trips. Its very sad to leave them too.
But time will pass very soon & you'll be back with them again.
