The problem in some areas is that they are less populated and terrain is difficult. Less vet offices are present and sometimes less diagnosing is done.
I like Sentinel and Heartgard. Prefer Sentinel for our needs.
Stoppng preventative toward the end of the year is a major concern and does not take the lifecycle of heartworms into account.
