I do think you can find much more reasonable deals w/ a PC/Windows. I'm a diehard PC girl -- I cannot do Mac at all...my brain gets really stressed out bc it's just too different from Windows/PC. A few years ago, I had to get a new laptop too - and I got an Acer (a small one)...I really like it and haven't had a single prob with it so far. Prior to getting it, I had Admin look over all the specs for me bc Admin is my tech guru; it was approved
. Maybe go to a Best Buy or similar and check out a bunch in person to see what feels right, then watch the sales?
