what breed is he? Hopefully Joel will just take some time to adjust. Toki and Teddy didn't hit it off immediately. Teddy wouldn't touch any toys or lay in dog beds (poor fellow would just lay in the middle of the floor) and Toki liked it that way lol. And Toki was a little (a lot) jealous too of the new addition...she would try to shove him off my lap, attack his legs when I was picking him up, or chase him off our couch. Although I gave Toki preferential treatment (like feeding her first, greeting her first, etc.) I was still firm with her. It took a few weeks for her to fully accept him and several months for them to get to the point where they are today. They still occasionally have their spats but now they play and wrestle together all the time and are good buddies. Anyway, keep us posted on Dixon and Joel!
