I purchased my first female yorkie (Kajon) in 1984, at that time I had a white poodle also (Kia) , in 1987 I got my 2nd female yorkie (Schnae) , now I had 3 badies, in 1996 my poodle passed away, in 1997 my first yorkie passed away, now I had one baby that was pining away for her lost sister, she wouldn't eat, play, not her little clown self, I gave her 6 months to get over her grief. 6 months later there was no change, so out I went to get her a sister (Matese). I use to call them roadway, where ever the puppy went Schnae was always right behind her. The closeness of these two dogs was incredible. In 2005 I had to put Schnae down, now Matese was all alone and in deep mourning, due to work hours I was gone 16 hours a day, I could not get her a sister. I gave her all my time, love, attention, when I had to put her down in Oct. it was over whelming, she was the last of my brood. Yorkies are so easy to fall in love with, they are such little clowns. You started with one, now you 3 lol, awesome. I love the breed, this lil guy I adopted is my sunshine, he's such a silly clown, he gives me belly laughs every day. Thank you for sharing your story with me. Enjoy those lil babies, they are such a joy.
