Put China and the puppies in a part of the house that the children are not allowed to enter without permission. I agree - most mothers are very worried and protective of their new little pups. And, it is cruel to add to their concerns. Believe me, they have their hands full as it is - nursing and caring for all these little guys.

You nieces and nephews - especially - should not be allowed to enter the room that China and her pups are in. I would let them go in (with you) and only look for a little while - until the puppies are older.

This shouldn't be hard to do - you're in charge!
