Diarrhea in small in small breeds must be watched closely, can lead to dehydration. If it last for 24 hours take to the vet. If diarrhea has blood, take to vet. if diarrhea has blood with mucus take to the vet. try feeding, boiled 85 % fat free or higher chop meat with rice, 2 TBSP of boiled chop meat to 1/2 cup of uncooked rice. boil chop meat in a fry pan with enough water to cover chop meat, mash the chop meat as its cooking, will take a few minutes. Boil 1/2 cup rice. when rice and chop meat are cook, mix together.
or 2 TBSP cottage cheese to 2/3 cup uncooked rice. Cook rice then mix in the cottage cheese. feed in place of their reg. food. If after 24 hours and still has diarrhea take to the vet with sample of feces.
