Hi everyone. Well after a long day.. We have 3 beautiful boy pups. There was a 4th but unfortunately he was born still born. He didn't have no water sac. 1st boy born at 12:50pm, 2nd boy born at 3:10pm. Then she stopped pushing and contacting so took her vet. They gave her oxytocin and sent me home. After an hour of it not working I took her to a different emergency vet. They carried out a few tests. They then gave another oxytocin injection which produced the 3rd boy which was the still born and he was born at 11:10pm (absolutely heart breaking moment). Then another oxytocin injection eventually produced the 4th and final boy was born at 11:50pm. The 4th boy is the smallest weighing in at 4.5oz. He seems very weak so we need to build him up and take lots of care of him. Mum and all 3 boys are now settled at home. I've just climbed into bed (finally) and my partner is doing the 1st night watch so I can catch up on some much needed sleep.
