The photos are of the end of the day when the top-knot came out! I don't put another in till morning. I put conditioning spray on before I brush the mess out. He is very hard on his top-knot, always rubbing it on the carpet.
I was just trying to show the OP how to put the dog on the table and have her lay her little head on a pillow to allow her to put the top-knot in.
