Default Question about training and dormant behaviours

Hi everyone,
My Yorkie Sadie will be 5 in June and definitely has small dog syndrome.
We hired bark busters and I made sure that their techniques were right for us and they are approved by the ontario SPCA.

My question is how long until I can expect her "snapping" at other dogs to no longer be in her thought process. She's attacked our animals, fights with them but never injured. So with the training how long will she have to not react in this way before she stops ever doing it? (I mean to an extent)
I hope it's not 5 years since that's how old she is (almost)
If anyone knows how long or has had experience with this that would be great.
We're trying to really work with her and getting her to listen. I'd like to even do agility with her or some sort of activity to keep her focused on good things. But first I need to be able to trust her around all animals and kids
