Also, I think the first introduction would have a big impact. I have a boy and a girl. For Magnus, my parents and I were his "pack". But when Zoey came, they formed a new pack. They're not BFF but they do stick together when they feel is needed. Especially if there's another dog involved. Of course, this doesn't mean that I don't think they'd accept another dog if ever decided to bring another home. But I think the first introduction is important and will set the foundation.
Have you done any research on how to introduce a new puppy to the pack? I've seen some great videos/articles on this subject and I think it'll help you a lot. |
