Some of you may have seen Tori in the Regional Forum where a YTer was looking for help....
I am happy to share with all of you that Tori is now a YHR pup. Bekabug is fostering her until we get to the bottom of her medical issues and then she will go to another foster home after that. She is close to UT and we felt that would be best for Tori...to be evaluated there.
She has a link on the YHR page that leads to a page that Bekabug had put together for her. Beka found Tori in December and not long after Tori started having symptoms of a possible liver shunt. The website for Tori tells the whole story. Putting them both here so you can follow her; but I will update as I hear more and perhaps Bekabug will as well. She has had BATs done which were high..I don't have the exact numbers here. She is on lactulose and a low protein diet which has kept her asymptomatic.
