your little guy looks so cute! we did survive our first night last night, but my little girl woke me at 10:30pm and again at 2:30am to go potty. she hasn't ever used doggy pads, I don't think, and at this early stage, at least, hasn't gotten used to them. but she is very good, goes just outside the door, gets down to business and turns around to go back in.
so, based on last night's experiences, I know that she can go 4 hours, which means today I am working to get her on an "every 4 hours" schedule. get her regulated so that I can just set the alarm clock at night to get up and pop out and know that she will go. :-)
she's already all settled in here, and doesn't need to follow mom all over the house because she worries that I am going to disappear.
next week, it is vet and groomers for her. I figure a week is good to give her time to get settled in before upheaving her routine a bit with trips to places where she gets poked and scrubbed, etc. LOL |
