 Skin condition... please HELP
My little Charlie has developed a nasty skin condition. It's covered his whole back. The vet has done a biopsy and says it's nothing serious. They gave me shampoo for sensitive skin and cortisone tablets. The breeder where I got him from says it could be "hot spots" or a heat rash. It has been very warm the past 2 months in South Africa. The breakout starts with a pimple type raised spot, not puss comes from it, but the skin becomes flaky and then it itches... There is no real dis colouration of the skin, just white flakes... at first I was worried it looked like fungal spores, but the vet says its not! Can anyone PLEASE help me, have you seen this before? |
