Animal Smiley 049 Hi to Yorkie lovers!

Halle is my second Yorkie. The first of November 2013 my 3 yr old chrissi was hit by a car and killed. I thought I would die! It was horrible. My daughter got busy and found Halle right away. At first I resented her a little as I was so used to Chrissi- she was my first pet ever in my 70 yrs. She was like a child to me and I still miss her a lot, Halle has stollen my heart now. I loved having Chrissi lay by my feet, or snuggle up anytime I sat or layed down. Halle will go lay by the door, or on one of her beds but hardly ever sits or lays by me when she gets tired. I am worried she won't be a lap dog. One of the things I love the most is having my dog close to me. I know no one really knows what a pet will turn out like, but I am hoping that she will be more loving. Chrissi was never in a kennel a day, but Halle has been trained to sleep in her kennel and ride in her car seat. Any thoughts that might be encouraging? By the way Halle was 5 months old yesterday.
I love this site! You all have given me a lot of great advise. I am not much for writing but thought I should introduce myself. Aren't Yorkies lap dogs?-1553030_10201319772055666_1092528871_n.jpg
