I've fed Merrick canned foods (not the kibble) and they've been a good addition to our rotation. I just placed an order for a few cases of Whole Earth Farms which is the same company but more affordable. It's also grain-free and doesn't have artificial thickeners like carrageenan (if that's an important factor for you) and they have a few chicken-free options as well...so I'm hoping the pups like it.
For grain-free chicken-free kibbles, check out Earthborn Great Plains Feast or EB Meadow Feast. Also Nutrisca (lamb and salmon formulas), Nature's Variety Instinct (read the labels for chicken free...several options), and Fromm Pork and Peas are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm currently feeding Teddy the EB Great Plains Feast and he's done great! About to switch to the Meadow Feast
