Practice practice practice, for you and the pup. Lola was 9 or 10 months old before she learned to sit still.
I sit on the couch with Lola between my lap and the arm rest with her head on a folded towel. I use a rat tail comb to seperate the hair, then comb the pony tail to smooth the loose hairs. After the band is in make sure it isn't too tight or pulling any hairs.
It just takes practice to get it in the right spot and at the right angle. |
