Anne my sons talked me into getting Direct TV and boy am I happy we did it. We did have lots of problems with Cox, but we still use them for internet and phone. We have a whole home DVR and remote genies in 4 rooms for less than half the cost of cox cable. I can record on one channel and it's available on all the TV's. This makes it so nice when I work out, I love being able to watch what I want to watch, the time goes by much faster. You really should check it out, there are even better deals if you do direct paying and have good credit. The major reason I switched after them nagging me for a year, is that the Walking Dead comes on much earlier, but even if it didn't I'm so glad I switched, I love it! PS if you decide you might want to try it, I can give you my account number and you'll save another $100 and so will I, but honestly that's not the reason I'm recommending it.
I had the same issues with time warner so I switched to direct tv for tv, phone and Internet and I saved almost $200 per month. Time warner still owes me $700 for charging me for 2 extra DVR boxes I didn't even have foe around a year. Still waiting for my refund almost 6 months later. I also love the genie boxes, they are awesome !!!!
