Steve, I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through this. You must be going crazy with fear and worry.
I agree you must notify your breeder if you are going to be unable to care for him any longer. Is there anyone in your family who would be willing to step in and care for him while you are in treatment? Many on here are willing to foster. I was going to reply last night but wanted to talk with my husband first and We also would be willing to foster him here in nj.
Please keep us on YT posted on what is happening because as you can see we are a very caring group. I wish you and Riley the best.
