LOL, I think you're right about that!!! Actually, I'm only using them temporarily to transition from the pads to our new Piddle Place indoor potty mat- to get him to know that this is where he should potty now. I'm going to be moving the potty pad off the PIddle Place mat very slowly and exposing more of the Piddle Place pad more and more, so that he'll get the idea that this is his new potty place-so it's just temporary, but he's still shredding it. He is so darn cute it is hard to be stern with him, but is there anything I should say to stop him from shredding the pads without discouraging him from going potty on them and the Piddle Place mat? I don't want to discourage or confuse him from going on the pad and mat. That is primarily why I don't know what to do-I don't want to confuse him, but I want him to stop shredding and only use the mat and pads for poop and pee, not to lounge on or rip apart

I think I'm confused myself
