Same at my office. We have DSL with a wireless router.

Wi-fi is not the same as DSL. DSL is how the internet gets to the house or office. Wifi or network is how the computer hooks to the DSL.
Ah, I think I see that the DSL broadband is how the internet gets to the house coming through the phone line now(the broadband cable hooks into the same phone line box) and from that to the modem and from the modem to the computer. So if I don't have a phone line, now I'm unsure how I'll get an internet signal to my house.
