Susan Thixton has done a lot of research into the pet food industry in general. While she does look at some individual brands she mostly deals with the large organizations and the FDA that make decisions about what is and is not acceptable for use as ingredients for pet food/feeds.
There are places for comments after all of her articles and there are many people who are still trying to find the right commercial brand to feed. There are a variety of different ideas there just as here but Susan's findings in dealing with the industry are the most interesting and quite eye opening bits of info. |
