Cook's teeth get brushed every single day since we got her, and her teeth, gums, and breath were in tip-top shape when I got her from Deb. I know how awful gum disease can be (leading to things like an enlarged heart), so her dental health has always been really important. It freaked me out when I saw it last night because I figured she only had permanent teeth now, but this morning I saw she had a tooth pushing it out. It's definitely hanging by a thread and should come out pretty soon, so I don't think it necessitates a trip to the vet. I was just wondering if it's more likely it started growing this late, or that my vet just missed it back in November when he pulled 3 baby teeth after her spay.
