I just noticed Cookie has a very loose tooth on the upper back of her jaw. It looks like there is another tooth on the inside as if it's a baby tooth being pushed out by a permanent one growing in. I can't imagine my vet would have missed it during her spay in November, but it seems like it's being pushed out by another tooth. Is that even possible to have a permanent tooth start really showing up after 7 months? She gets her teeth brushed every night, her breath smells great, her gums look healthy. I mean it doesn't look rotten or anything. Has anyone seen an adult tooth come in so late though?
