For a long time, I had Cingular Family Plan with rollover minutes and that was awesome . . . . . UNTIL Hurricane Katrina. Towers were down all over and we just couldn't wait until they were restored. For months afterwards, Cingular subscribers were having problems and you couldn't reach a Cingular customer in this area without major difficulties.
We switched to Alltel and I've been really pleased. We no longer have the option of rollover minutes but we haven't gone over on our limit yet. We still have a family plan but I'm the only one doing the talking now.
I have an extra phone right now that I'm going to allow my son to use while he is home from Iraq for 15 days and then I'll be sending it to my oldest daughter to use to call me so that our conversations don't use any minutes (mobile to mobile) since we talk on the phone about 10 times each day!
I'm happy with the plan/minutes/pricing.
