I've heard simethicone used in bloating before and it does seem to work for some. Did you find out the cause of the bloating in your kiddo, btw?
Should also mention that abdominal bloating can sometimes be a sign of something very serious going on, so while it's sometimes okay to try home remedies first - it's also important to remember that adb bloating can be super serious.
