Gracie gets bathed weekly in the kitchen sink. Started her at 9 weeks bathing. Each time she has been calmer and calmer. I just talk to her gently and say things like "there's nothing to be scared of.. feel how relaxing the warm water is." Finish then mircrofiber towel and cuddle then blow dry.
Started her grooming about 9 weeks also. Just a little here and there like Dremel on her nails, clipper for privates and pads of feet. Again, each week she gets calmer and calmer with it.
I think these things just take time and patience.
