I think you misunderstood what I meant about living things. You did a drawing from a calender but the dog is still a living thing therefore the curved line still applies...most animal portrait artists . use photographs as a reference...animals do not like to sit still for a portrait drawing or painting. If you knew me better you would know that I am about the most NONmean person around. On a forum you open yourself up to the comments of many people that you do not know and it can be hard to read. I have been hired many times to give advice and constructive criticism to art students so I looked at your work as I would any other artist. My opinions were solely based on what you asked for..comments on your work.Drawing takes constant practice and I still to this day carry a sketchbook in my handbag and I sketch all the time.Keep working
