After seeing hundreds of Yorkie pictures - all their different sizes, etc - I'm sure they aren't all built exactly the same.
My little 6 month old pup (6 1/2 pounds) is very slender. But he's a good eater and is very active and healthy.... I'm sure his short hair helps make him look "lean and mean." More hair would make him look heavier.
In fact - now that I'm thinking about it - the vet said, "This is one 'solid' little pup." And said he's as healthy as can be ... which he is.
