We have the same dilemma - but there are two of us - my hubby is retired and home much of the time. We think Rowdy would love to have someonne other than 2 old foggies to play with - but we know it will be harder to take 2 with us. Anyway, Rowdy's mom and dad just had a litter and we think we will get one - it was a hard decision, but I've never read any post from anyone on YT who said they wished they DIDN'T get the second one.
That doesn't help much - i know it is hard, we too, have struggled
