My Cali has allergies. We tried many different medicines, food elimination diets and had all the allergy testing. The testing didn't show anything that she was allergic to, but they can't test for everything. Nothing worked until we put her on Atopica. She started out on it every day then I was able to slowly wean her down to once or twice a week. It has been a miracle for her. No more scratching. She would scratch so bad she scratched her hair out on her face and had scabs on her nose.
I would work with your vet to see what works for Sophie. If nothing else helps maybe talk to your vet about Atopica. I hope you can get her some relief. |
