LOL, nope, not the whole house , though it may appear that way! I just wish I had an easy way to enjoy some fire, that also looked aesthetically nice...hard to find thus far.

I have the bulky/ugly one that hides the tank. I like it because even with the fire on, there's area around for glasses, plates, propped feet, and the metal around the pit doesn't get too hot. I wouldn't like one that doesn't hide the tank. I'm OCD weird about stuff.
I prefer the chimnea with pinion wood. I like the way the wood smells. We even burn it in the summer to help with mosquitoes and flys.
Ya know, never thought about the benefit of having the bigger one where you can put drinks/plates/whatnot...good idea. I too don't love the idea of a hose running off to the side, bleh.
