Oh no, so sorry Tammy. You can put some A & D ointment on her bottom. Its safe for dogs. Apply a thin coat 4-6 times a day.

I really never had an issue with them trying to get/dart away simply because they are very well trained and listen to me very well. Try working with her on her sit, stand and stay commands. For her bottom you can use the shortest guard you have. But sadly you will need to use them without the guard for the brim of her nose and eyes. That will take some practice and a steady hand.

You can do some conditioning with the trimmers. While speaking to her in a calm reassuring voice, touch her around her bottom and her face while with the trimmer while they are OFF. Occasionally turning them on and off getting her use to the sound of them. Also you can lay them on her while ON so that she gets use the vibration.

For her bottom: while you have someone help hold her around her chest grip the base of her tail and hold it strait up. Using the trimmers w/guard go right over her rectum. Do not worry the guard if on properly will prevent her from being cut.

For her nose/eyes: while you have someone help hold her around her chest grip her hair on each side of her mussel and under her chin so that she can not turn her head. Take the trimmers w/out the guard. Starting toward the middle of her eyes and go strait down the brim of her nose to the very tip. Than very very carefully (while holding her chin hair) do the corners of her eyes. If you can not accomplish this with the trimmers use scissors!
