Ricky loves to rub around after his bath. Usually I will blow dry him and then let him get all the rubbing out of his system and then do his hair...and then afterwards I give him a treat to chew on and by the time he's done eating that, he usually forgets about rubbing his hair tie out.
Per other members suggestions, I ended up buying little scrunchies for his hair and we no longer use rubber bands. I am so of happy we made the switch. It doesn't hurt to put his hair up or take it out anymore and the red sore spot on his head is gone. |
