Funniest thing ever said to me was when I was training Max to walk on sidewalks in the city. He was nervous and slinking along. An older man said, "That's a nice cat." He was completely serious.
When Max was a tiny pup, we had several people say, "Is that a real dog?" I wanted to say that Max was battery operated.
