Are you volunteering with a rescue organization? How did you come to have this foster in your home? Fostering is not easy, and it's not for everyone. However, fostering is temporary, and adoption is permanent. A very wise woman told me that. I have been fostering with YTNR for about 5 years now. Each foster is different. Each foster will make your yorkie more socialized. I didn't start fostering until Uni was about 3-4 yrs old. Eventually she got it that they stay for awhile, then they go.
You need to feed, greet, play etc your dog first. Fosters get attention second. No matter how much you want to help fosters, your family comes first.Train your dog and your fosters to know the "order" of feeding, greeting, etc.
If your yorkie has a fave toy or treats that she becomes aggressive about, hide those. Only have neutral toys, chews, and treats out and available. For us, that means no bully sticks.
