I thought once a week baths were common on YT?
I bathe mine twice a week. The baths keep my allergies from getting out of control, and Kaji's hair and skin hasn't suffered over the last 4 years. It's been okayed by my vet.
He's just gotten use to it. He walks over under the running water. Sometimes hes helpful, sometimes he's not so helpful.
