Well, maybe it has something to do with the humidity in the air as well because it sounds like you are doing everything you can. The only other suggestion I have would be to take out a weeks worth at a time and store the main bag in the coolest driest part of the house. Sometimes there's such an extreme price savings that you still save even if you have to through some away. Of course if you have any extra freezer space, it will keep a long time fresh in that because freezers also remove the water in the air.
