I think it depends...if it really bugs you then I would correct them, if it doesn't I would let it slide!! These little guys as so smart, they will learn the sound of their name and as long as you say something similar they will respond...we call Sailor Bear our teddy bear and she knows that when we say anything "bear" that we are talking to her!!
