From the outer skin it is just about impossible to tell a female has has a section. The incision is made in the line down the belly..it heals to the point it is not visiable. Dogs to not get those red, puffy scars like humans...BUT some vets use metal clamps inside to close the uterus and you can feel them..but only some vets.
Many vets use surgical glue inside and out and you can not tell at all.
