We have found the problem, finally! The biopsy results came back yesterday and turns out, Sadie is allergic to something. The lymph nodes in her intestine were very swollen due to an allergy. So now to figure out what it is she is allergic to....We are starting with the diet. So she is off EVERYTHING she was eating prior and on a completely new prescription diet. Hopefully this will solve the problem and she will be back to normal soon. Thankfully she is loving the new food and no vomiting since just after her surgery! Yeah!!! She is very picky so I was so happy she liked the new food right away. I have really enjoyed my week off with her while she recuperates from surgery. I will miss her next week when it is back to work. :-(

Also on a positive note, the antibiotics have cleared her urinary tract infection, which in turn has solved the potty training issue!!! It wasn't that she wasn't getting it, it was that she couldn't help it. I meant to say something to the vet about the frequency of her urination but then this whole major issue of the vomiting set in so it all got set aside. So we didn't know she had an infection way back when. She has only had one accident in the house in 2 weeks! Well, poopie is another matter, but I know Yorkies have issues with that, so we'll keep working, but no more wee-wee messes!!! I am sooo happy about that. I thought I was a failure and she would NEVER get it. :-)
