It comes down to personal preference too. Like Kristin, I like different brushes for different parts or different types of hair. For example, I find wood pin brushes to be great for the face. Some people might like to use it for the legs. Pin brushes penetrate to the skin to smooth out the hair & works out any tangles. So it would be a good choice to keep tangles away.

If the Boar bristle brush is working for Piper & she doesn't tangle, I wouldn't worry about whether you got the right kind of brush or not.
