Just to give a better idea of why I didn't tip the owner.. I go to the groom once a year, maybe twice. I hear too many horror stories and I don't like them being crated for so long... I went to the same groomer the last two times but I don't think I'll be going back. The owner is bit pushy insisting how they need the extra services and how they should be groomed every month, etc..
Last time I scheduled for the grooming, she told me to drop them off at 1 pm. When I get there, the guy tells me they were schedule for 2 pm. I ask them to call me at my office number b/c reception for cell is horrible in the building. It was 45 min past the time they were supposed to be ready so I call and she tells me they've been ready for over an hour. Apparently, they called my cell.
In short, their service is not very good. I got annoyed the first time with her being pushy so I didn't tip. 2nd time I wasn't happy about customer service so I didn't tip. They do a good job on cutting though..
